Financial support for students

Housing

If you are renting a residence with its own kitchen, you may be eligible for housing support.

State Educational Support (SU)

If you are starting an education and are 18 years or older, you may be eligible for SU. You can find more information about the rules for SU support below.

There may be tax regulations you need to know about, for example if you have a part-time job while studying

Youth Card (Ungdomskort)

With the Youth Card you get a discount on your travels to and from your school or educational institution.

You are eligible if you are:

  • Aged 16-19 years.
  • A student in a youth education program,
  • A student in higher education.
